DESCRIPTION:Run Around the EU is a Department of Education and Youth initiative, supported by Healthy Ireland and the Blue Star Programme.
It is designed to support schools to find ways to integrate physical activity with teaching and learning, prioritising participation, inclusion and FUN.
Run Around the EU’ is the first Active School physical activity initiative of 2026/27 year.
All classes, at all levels including special classes, are encouraged to participate. Working as a class, or as a school, your combined laps will allow you to visit lots of other European Union (EU) member states, learning lots of interesting facts and information along the way.
